Chef Dan Varga is The Hungarian Butcher

“Opening The Hungarian Butcher shop has been a lifelong dream of mine. I am truly excited to share the craft of sausage making, butchery, and my family’s Hungarian recipes with the people and friends who have supported me for years and to everyone who visits the shop.”

The Hungarian Butcher store features time honored Hungarian recipes and traditions, blending old and new world recipes and techniques, to create beautiful crafted sausages and meats. Chef Varga works with local farmers, suppliers, and sustainable farms from Ohio like Sakura Wagyu Farms, Woodruff Farms, PureBred Lamb, Six Buckets Farm and others. Photo courtesy of Tommy Feisel.
